YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generating, handling, and analyzing workflows pertaining to tumor dissociation and tumor immune profiling (PCR, FACS, DNA/RNA sample processing)
Developing and performing assays pertaining to T cell activation, tumor cell killing, and off-target toxicity studies (ELISA, flow cytometry)
Developing and analyzing studies using adoptive T cell transfer in patient-derived tumor xenograft mouse models
Interfacing with a team of computational and experimental biologists to aid in experimental and computational designs
Doctoral (PhD) degree or equivalent with 2-5 years of relevant experience (industry experience preferred).
Experience working with human or mouse tumor specimens/mouse models
Experience in molecular biology techniques (gel electrophoresis, PCR, ELISA) and cellular immunology techniques (cell killing assays, immunoprofiling by flow cytometry, cytokine secretion assays)
Knowledge in immunology (T cell biology) and oncology (tumor models, cancer types and lines of therapy)
Self-motivated and a proactive thinker – can work independently and in teams
Excellent written and communication skills presenting scientific data
Knowledge and/or experience with adoptive T cell therapies
Knowledge and/or experience with patient-derived xenograft mouse models
